Dr. Abdul Rahman Agha El Kinge has an extensive experience in Medical Oncology. He has trained in Breast Cancer at the MD Anderson Cancer Center, USA, and he is also certified by the European Society of Medical Oncology. Dr. El Kinge is on the editorial board and a reviewer in multiple international medical journals. He is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, and a member of local and international hematology and oncology societies. He has a keen interest in academics and as a result has multiple peer-reviewed publications. He has initiated and headed multiple oncology and hematology departments in KSA and UAE. He is the Chairperson of the yearly International Oncology and Supportive Care Congress. He has special interest and experience in Precision Medicine and Artificial intelligence in Cancer care.

Dr. Saadeddin is currently a Consultant Clinical Oncologist, Clinical Tutor and education Supervisor for Adult Oncology section at the Oncology Department of King AbdulAziz Medical City with a special interest in metastatic breast and Prostate Cancers. He was recently appointed as an Assistant professor of Oncology at King Saud Bin AbdulAziz University for Health Science.

Dr. Chehal is an Adjunct Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine, Gulf Medical University (GMU), Ajman, UAE Dr. Chehal is an Adjunct Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine, Khalifa University (KU), Abu Dhabi, UAE Dr. Chehal graduated from the college of Medicine at Baghdad University/Iraq (MBChB) in 1996. He did his Internal Medicine residency at Makassed General Hospital (Affiliated with American University of Beirut), Lebanon, between 1997 and 2000. He did his Hematology/Oncology fellowship at the American University of Beirut (AUBMC), Lebanon, between 2000 and 2003 (Lebanese Board). He obtained Fellowship of the American College of Physician (FACP) in 2013. He obtained the European Certification of Medical Oncology (ECMO) in 2009 and Re-certification in 2014 and 2021. Dr. Chehal is a member of many national and international societies including ASCO, ESMO, EHA,….. He had an important role in Tumor registry in Lebanon in 2002. Dr. Chehal acted as chairperson, moderator, advisor, and member of scientific committee in many local and international congresses. Dr. Chehal has 27 published articles in peer reviewed international journals; he is the first author on 9 of them, in addition to 31 abstracts. He joined Mafraq hospital From May 2006 until December 2019. He served as head of Hematology Oncology division at Mafraq Hospital from December 2018 till December 2019 His main interests are Lung cancer, Breast Cancer, GI malignancies and Lymphoma.

He is the Medical Director and consultant at the West Cancer Center, University of Tennessee, in Memphis, TN. He currently co-chairs the NCI Gastrointestinal Cancer Steering Committee after having served as chair of the Colon Cancer Task Force for 6 years. Dr. Grothey is a member of the NCCN Guidelines Committee for Colon, Rectal, and Anal Cancer and also a member of the European Society of Medical Oncology (ESMO) guidelines committee for colorectal cancer.

Dr. Diaeddine Trad is a Consultant of Medical Oncology, at Tawam Hospital, in Al Ain, UAE. He is a member of the European Society of Medical Oncology (ESMO), and the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO). He is an investigator in several ongoing clinical trials. Dr. Trad is certified as a specialist in internal medicine, hematology and oncology by the Lebanese Ministry of Health. His research interests include; non-small cell lung adenocarcinoma and locally advanced breast cancer. Dr. Trad was a speaker in many international conferences and forums.

Dr.Emad Anwar Dawoud, MD, PhD is a Consultant Clinical Oncology at Tawam Hospital (Affiliated with Johns Hopkins) Al Ain, UAE

Dr. Faisel Ikram joined Mediclinic City Hospital as Consultant General Surgeon/ Surgical Gastroenterologist with special interest in advanced laparoscopic surgery. After completing his surgical training at Johannesburg General Hospital, he took up a consultant position at the Department of Surgical Gastroenterology and was a lecturer at the Wits Medical School, University of Witwatersrand. He completed his sub-speciality training and continued to work as a Senior Consultant in his unit, specialising in surgical oncology.He has been actively involved in conducting training workshops in basic and advanced laparoscopy in South Africa.

Asst Prof Dr. Faraz Khan is a Consultant Hematologist and Medical Oncologist with over 15 years experience in treating cancer and various blood diseases. He completed his Internal Medicine, Hematology and Medical oncology training from the University of Connecticut, CT, USA and is triple board certified in Internal medicine, Hematology and Medical Oncology. He worked as a consultant Hematologist/Medical Oncologist at PEI Cancer Treatment Center, PE, Canada and directed the provincial hemophilia and bleeding disorder clinic.

Dr Hassan Ghazal is an American board-certified Consultant Medical Oncologist and a Consultant Clinical hematologist offering more than 3 decades of clinical experience. Dr Hassan Ghazal, after doing his basic medical education in American University of Beirut, moved to US for his residency program in Internal Medicine at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, MD. In 1992, completing the residency program, Dr Hassan Ghazal joined in George Washington university Medical Center for his fellowship in Medical Oncology and completed the same in 1995. He continued in George Washington University Medical Center for another 2 years and obtained his senior fellowship in bone marrow transplantation in the year 1997. He got his US board certification in Internal Medicine, Medical Oncology and in Hematology in the year 1992, 1995,1996 respectively. Except his association with CMC for the preceding 3 years, all his clinical practices were in US in various capacities including Director, Kentucky Cancer Clinic and Staff Oncologist/ Hematologist at Hazard Appalachian Regional Medical Center. Dr Hassan Ghazal is a member of various clinical societies such as American College of Physicians, American Society of Haematology, American Society of Clinical Oncology, European Society of Medical Oncology etc. Dr Hassan Ghazal has got many publications and abstracts in his credit, in peer reviewed journals, and there are many international recognitions and accolades in his name. He has been involved in numerous clinical trials, nearly 100, in the US, serving as Principal Investigator, for over 25 years, and enrolled hundreds of patients in these trials.

Dr Joline Lim is a consultant and clinician scientist at the National University Cancer Institute, Singapore. Her primary clinical and research interests are in breast oncology and early phase clinical trials, with a special focus on the development of novel anti-cancer therapeutic agents and biomarkers. Dr Lim graduated from the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University Singapore in 2007, and commenced her basic specialist training in NUH. This phase of training, which saw her conferred the Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (United Kingdom) in Internal Medicine in 2010, culminated in her being appointed as the Chief Resident of the Internal Medicine Residency Program. She subsequently pursued a year of research training under Professor Daniel Tenen and Dr Li Chai at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Centre / Brigham and Women Hospital, Harvard Medical School, Boston. Upon returning to Singapore, she completed her advanced specialist training in medical oncology at the National University Cancer Institute, Singapore, where she was appointed as the Senior Chief Resident of Medical Oncology and was admitted as a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore (Medical Oncology) in 2015. Dr Lim has a keen interest in translational research involving novel anti-tumour therapies including molecular targeted agents and immunotherapies, and the application of emerging predictive and pharmacodynamic biomarkers. To pursue this interest further, she has completed advanced training in early phase drug development at the Royal Marsden Hospital in the United Kingdom as a National Medical Research Council Research Training Fellow. Her efforts in novel combination strategies in breast cancer led to her being awarded the Conquer Cancer Foundation of ASCO Merit Award in 2017. She is actively involved in multi-centred international clinical trials, and is the principal and co-investigator for translational research grants involving new biomarker development. Her peer-reviewed publications to date include the New England Journal of Medicine, Cancer Discovery, and Annals of Oncology.

Dr.Shiu qualified as a doctor at Guys and St Thomas’ Medical School. He trained in medical oncology in London including St George’s Hospital, the Royal Free Hospital and University College London Hospital and completed his PhD in integrative genomic profiling of cancer, working with Professor Alan Ashworth at the Institute of Cancer Research and the Royal Marsden Hospital. He also attained a research fellowship at the MRC Clinical Trials Unit at UCL, maintaining a strong link with them in order to accelerate the development of novel cancer clinical trial designs. Dr. Shiu is a consultant in the Gastrointestinal Oncology Unit at UCLH. He is also the Clinical Lead for the Cancer of Unknown Primary Service, and the Acute Oncology Service at UCLH. He is actively involved in gastrointestinal oncology clinical trial research and also has a specialist interest in treating patients with Cancer of Unknown Primary, their entry into clinical trials, and management of oligometastatic disease. Dr.Shiu is the Principal Investigator of the UCL/UCLH Gastrointestinal Cancer Translational Research Biobank. He is the Chief Investigator and Principal Investigator for a number of national and international trials. He also undertakes early phase clinical trials in the private sector at The Sarah Cannon Research Institute, which is associated with the LOC in Harley Street.

Dr. Kaltar Das has done his internal medicine fellowship in 2008 and Oncology fellowship in 2011 from Shaukat khanum Memorial cancer hospital and research center Pakistan, which is one the largest dedicated oncology center in the region. He has worked as oncologist in Pakistan, Qatar and currently working with Dubai health authority since 2012 (09 years). He has been participating as faculty member in EIOC (formerly UAE-CC) since 08 consecutive years. His special interest involves GI and Urological malignancies.

Dr. Kumar is a professor and medical oncologist in Tata Memorial Hospital and has more than two decades of experience.He is the present President and convener of Indian Cooperative Oncology Network (ICON).He has so far published over a hundred research and review articles/papers in journals of national and international repute.He has so far undertaken over 80 projects as Principal Ivestigator and Co-Investigator.He is a member of many international and national scientific societies and associations and has delivered talks in several conferences.These days he is proactive in increasing awareness about lung cancer and has successfully conceptualized Lung Cancer Consortium Asia ,he has significantly contributed in translational and clinical research work in the field of lung cancer and has published 17 papers in recent years.He is dedicated to create awareness about lung cancer with utmost importance to patient care and to strengthen future research.

Prof Lee obtained her medical degrees from the National University of Singapore and the Royal College of Physicians, United Kingdom, and completed a fellowship in cancer genetics at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, United States. She is currently Head and Senior Consultant with the Department of Haematology-Oncology, and Associate Director of Research at NCIS, as well as Senior Principal Investigator at the Cancer Science Institute, Singapore. She is ex-Chairperson of the Chapter of Medical Oncologists, Academy of Medicine, Singapore, and has been a member of the Ministry of Health Specialist Accreditation Board for Medical Oncology since 2009. She has been Chair of the National Healthcare Group Domain-Specific Ethics Review Board B since 2008. She is also a member of the Singapore Ministry of Health Drug Advisory Committee for Oncology drugs. She specialises in breast cancer and directs the Cancer Genetics program at NCIS. Her research focus is on breast cancer, pharmacogenetics and cancer genetics, and she has been the Principal Investigator of more than 40 industry-sponsored and investigator-initiated breast cancer clinical trials. She directs the Haematology-Oncology Research Group, a cancer clinical trials unit that conducts 100-120 phase I-III therapeutics clinical trials in solid tumours and haematological malignancies at the National University Cancer Institute. She was awarded the Singapore National Medical Research Council Senior Clinician Scientist Award in 2009 and again in 2015, and has almost 150 peer-reviewed publications in major oncology and pharmacogenetics journals, including Cancer, Oncology, Lancet Oncology, JAMA Oncology, Journal of Clinical Oncology, Annals of Oncology, British Journal of Cancer, Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics, Pharmacogenetics and Genomics, Breast Cancer Research and Treatment, New England Journal of Medicine and Nature Genetics. She has reviewed for international journals including Gut, British Journal of Cancer, Pharmacogenetics and Genomics, Personalized Medicine, Annals of Oncology, Cancer Chemotherapy and Pharmacology, and Pharmacogenomics.

Professor Marwan Ghosn acquired his medical degree and his post graduate expertise in Hematology and Oncology from Saint-Joseph University, Faculty of Medicine, in Beirut, Lebanon as well as from the University of Paris XI – Kremlin- Bicêtre and Institut Gustave, Roussy Cancer Center in Villejuif, France. He is the Director of the Hematology – Oncology Post Graduate Program and the Chairman of the Hematology – Oncology Department at Saint-Joseph University, Faculty of Medicine in Beirut. He acquired a Master in Hospital and Health Management from The Higher School of Business, ESA, in Beirut and a Master in the Quality Management of Units for Care Production (MUPS) from the University of Paris VII, Denis Diderot, and France. He is currently the Director of the Cancer Center and the Head of Hematology & Oncology Division at Clemenceau Medical Center, affiliated with Johns Hopkins International in Beirut. Professor Marwan Ghosn has also served, for more than 12 years, as Chairman of the Hematology-Oncology Department at Hotel-Dieu de France University Hospital in Beirut, where he is actually continuing his clinical, medical and research activities. He served as President of the Lebanese Society of Medical Oncology (LSMO) and was member of the Board of the Lebanese Cancer Society (LCS) for many years. He is an active member of several national & international scientific organizations and societies including the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), the American Association of Cancer Research (AACR), the European Society of Medical Oncology (ESMO), the American Society of Hematology (ASH), The European Hematology Association (EHA), the International Society of Geriatric Oncology (SIOG) and the Arab Medical Association Against Cancer (AMAAC). He is author and co-author of more than 200 peer-reviewed articles. He also published and gave an extensive number of communications, posters and abstracts at regional and international meetings, as well as several chapters in books in the field of Medical Oncology and Health Care Management. He is the Editor-in-Chief of the “Pan Arab Journal of Oncology” (PAJO) edited by the Arab Medical Association Against Cancer (AMAAC) and has previously served as Editor-in-Chief of the “Cancer Letter” edited by the Lebanese Cancer Society. Professor Ghosn has special interests in multiple areas including leadership in conducting research and clinical trials in multiple solid tumors. He has an expertise in breast cancer, urologic cancers, gastrointestinal tumors, geriatric oncology domain as well as in patients’ safety and Quality in Healthcare.

Dr Mastura Md Yusof is a Consultant in Clinical Oncology and Radiotherapy, practising at Pantai Hospital Kuala Lumpur and Subang Jaya Medical Centre which are the two oldest and most established comprehensive cancer centres in Malaysia.

Chief Medical Director Dr. Mohsen Mokhtar is a professor of clinical oncology in Al-Kasr Al-Aini Medical School. Dr. Mohsen assisted in developing the syllabus and course structure at Al-Kasr Al-Aini, as well as, supervised several research programs and theses. Furthermore, Dr. Mokhtar has published more than 50 articles in several regional magazines in topics including: breast, lung, pediatric, colorectal, ovarian malignancies NHL and hematologic malignancies. Professionally, Dr. Mokhtar has more than 20 years of experience in hospital management. He is currently the chief medical director in Elaj group covering the clinical and medical audit of group facilities

Dr Raghav Sundar is a clinician-scientist specialising in gastrointestinal oncology. He is a consultant medical oncologist at the National University Cancer Institute, Singapore, treating patients with gastrointestinal malignancies including colorectal, gastric and hepatobiliary malignancies. He also specialises in experimental therapeutics and early phase clinical trials, and is a part of the Phase 1 clinical trials team. He underwent fellowship training at the Drug Development Unit, Royal Marsden Hospital, UK. His research interest is in genomics of gastric cancer. He studies the interaction between the tumor epigenome and the immune microenvironment. His work has identified predictive biomarkers of systemic therapy in gastric cancer as well as potential therapeutic targets. His studies incorporate contemporary technology such as spatial transcriptomics and machine-learning. Another area of research interest is in chemotherapy induced peripheral neuropathy. As a translational clinician-scientist his works arches across several domains, collaborating with engineers, bioinformaticians, laboratory scientists, pharmaceutical and industry partners. He has published over 50 manuscripts, in high impact journals such as Cancer Discovery and Gut and secured over $4 million in grant funding to date.

“Dr. Rakesh Rai is one of the renowned Hepato-Pancrato-Biliary & Transplant Surgeons. He has an experience of over 15+ years of and has worked with some of the most renowned transplant centres in the world. Dr Rai has completed his MBBS from Patna University & MS (General Surgery) from the University of Mumbai. Following which he did his MD from the University of Newcastle. He has received training in HPB surgery and abdominal organ transplantation from some of the eminent centres in the UK like Royal Free Hospital, London, Freeman Hospital, Newcastle and Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham. His areas of specialization are Liver resection for benign and cancerous liver tumors, gall bladder cancer, Surgeries of the stomach, duodenum, small and large intestine, kidney transplants, etc. Dr Rai has finished his American Society of Transplant Surgeons (ASTS) & an accredited fellowship at Methodist Transplant Institute at Memphis. He also has experience in living donor liver transplantation at Asan Medical centre, Samsung Medical centre in Seoul, Korea. Dr Rai is regularly invited to speak in some of the well-known scientific meetings in India as well as abroad. Dr Rai has his expertise in hepato-biliary-pancreatic surgery and solid organ transplantation (liver, kidney and pancreas). He has multiple publications in eminent journals and has reviewed articles for eminent journals.”

Dr. Ramanujam Singarachari ( Dr Ram) came to SKMC in 2009 from Auckland City Hospital, New Zealand after 3 years of higher training in Medical Oncology. He has completed his Medical Oncology Super-Specialty Degree (DM) in 2001 from Cancer Institute, Chennai, India and subsequently worked as faculty at regional cancer centers in India, before joining as senior staff specialist at Dubai Hospital, UAE. He is certified and recertified (2019) from European Society of Medical Oncology. He is also certified in Medical Oncology by the Federation of Royal Colleges of Physicians of the United Kingdom and the Association of Cancer Physicians. His areas of interest are GI cancers, Breast cancers, CNS cancers and Palliative Care.

Dr Shah trained at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospitals between 1988 and 1994, obtaining a First Class Honours Intercalated BSc in Experimental Pathology. He undertook medical training at The London Chest Hospital, Hammersmith Hospital, University College London, Guy’s Hospital and The Royal Marsden. He obtained Membership of the Royal College of Physicians of London in 1997. Dr Shah was awarded a Clinical Research Fellowship by The Imperial Cancer Research Fund undertaking a period of research looking at abnormal genes in pancreatic cancer and utilising this to try and develop a cancer specific viral gene therapy. This work led to the award of a PhD. Dr Shah subsequently trained to become a specialist in Medical Oncology at The Royal Marsden Hospital and was awarded an ASCO Foundation Merit Award in 2005. He was appointed Consultant Medical Oncologist at the Kent Oncology Centre in 2006. Dr Shah provides specialist services in cancer systemic therapy to three acute NHS Trusts. He also provides services as a private medical oncologist at several hospitals. He is involved in training future medical oncologists and has an extensive role in clinical research. He has served on the NCRI Lung Group, acted as chairman of the Kent Lung Network Lead and continues to be the lead for research at his cancer centre. Dr Shah is heavily involved in clinical research. He acts as principal investigator on many trials in his centre and has been a major champion in the introduction of immunotherapy into routine clinical practice within Kent. He has published widely and regularly speaks both nationally and internationally on cancer issues.

He worked at The William Osler Health System (Toronto) for 25 years (-2016) and while there was Chief of the Pharmacy & Therapeutics Committee, and lead of the clinical trials program (oncology) and continuing medical education (oncology). He was a past lead of CME for the Community Oncologists of Metropolitan Toronto (COMET), and a past Director of the Cancer Advocacy Coalition of Canada. He is a co-founder of the Physician Alliance for Cancer Care and Treatment (Canada), an oncologist led advocacy coalition, and is a scientific advisor for the Canadian Cancer Survivor Network, and the Canadian Breast Cancer Network. He is currently a medical oncologist at The Ottawa Hospital Cancer Centre, focusing on the treatment of breast, prostate cancers and melanoma and lead for the breast cancer disease site. He was the 2020 winner of the “Golden Throat” teaching award.

Professor Sanjay Popat is a Consultant Thoracic Medical Oncologist at The Royal Marsden and Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer in the Molecular Genetics and Genomics Group at the National Heart and Lung Institute, Imperial College London.He is a specialist thoracic oncologist, and is an internationally recognised expert in the treatment of lung cancer, mesothelioma and cancers of the thymus (thymoma and thymic carcinoma). He is Chair of the British Thoracic Oncology Group (BTOG), and also the Advanced Diseases Sub-group of the UK NCRI Lung Cancer Clinical Studies Group. He is Cancer Divisional Co-Director of the NIHR-London South Clinical Research Network. He is active in the European Organisation for Research and Treatment of Cancer (EORTC) Lung Group, the European Thoracic Oncology Platform (ETOP), and the International Thymic Malignancy Interest Group (ITMIG).

Dr. Shaheenah Dawood’s specialty is Oncology and currently works as a Consultant Oncologist in Mediclinic City Hospital. She currently serves as president of the Excellence in Oncology Care (EIOC) congress that is held annually in Dubai and is Co-Chair of the Asia Pacific Breast Cancer Summit (APBCS) & APGCS.

Dr. Sonia Otsmane is an experienced Medical Oncology-Haematology Consultant since 2004. Graduated from the Central faculty of Medecine Algiers in 1994. MD degree. Oncology-hematology board : Pierre and Marie curie institute in 2004. ESMO member. Member of ASCO. Member of Emirates oncology and hematology society. Member of Oncology society and Algerian order of physicians. Main interest: breast cancer, sarcomas, GI and GU malignancies and lymphomas. Has an interest and implicated in several clinical research. Publications and research ongoing on Hematology malignancies (Multiple myeloma /Lymphoma), Solid tumors mainly Breast cancer Head and neck tumors and Immunotherapy. Currently working as Medical Oncology Hematology Physician at Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City.

Dr Toh is Senior Consultant and former Head at the Department of Medical Oncology and now Deputy Medical Director (Strategic Partnerships), National Cancer Centre, Singapore. He graduated from the University of London, UK with an intercalated Bachelor of Science in ‘Infection and Immunity’ from St Mary’s Hospital Medical School and qualified as a medical doctor from University of Cambridge, UK. Dr Toh obtained his Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians in 2003. He received his medical oncology fellowship training at the Singapore General Hospital, Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School, Boston, USA and at the Center for Cell and Gene Therapy, Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, Texas, USA. Dr Toh is also alumni at the Harvard Business School. He is currently the vice-chairman of the Oncology Academic Clinical Program (ACP) for Education. He is a recipient of the National Clinician Scientist Award for his pioneering work in cell therapy for cancer. He conducted the first cancer vaccine and T cell therapy clinical trials in Singapore, and continues to work actively in the field of cancer immunotherapy, immunology and inflammation. He also had a strong interest in drug development for the Singapore Medical Association and the Singapore College of Physicians. gastrointestinal cancers including colon and liver cancer. Dr Toh is an Associate Professor and College Master at the Duke-NUS Medical School. He is also an adjunct Principal Investigator at the Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology, A*STAR. He was a council member in the Singapore Medical Association and the Singapore College of Physicians.

Dr. Vanita Noronha is a Professor and Medical Oncologist at the Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai. She has interest in lung, esophageal, head and neck and urologic cancers. She is also interested in optimizing the care of older patients with cancer and runs the geriatric oncology clinic at the Tata Memorial Hospital. She is interested in the management of rare tumors and run the rare tumor meeting. She is the editor in chief of Cancer Research Statistics and Treatment
