He was recently appointed as an Assistant professor of Oncology at King Saud Bin AbdulAziz University for Health Science.

Dr. Diaeddine Trad is a Consultant of Medical Oncology, at Tawam Hospital, in Al Ain, UAE. He is a member of the European Society of Medical Oncology (ESMO), and the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO). He is an investigator in several ongoing clinical trials. Dr. Trad is certified as a specialist in internal medicine, hematology and oncology by the Lebanese Ministry of Health. His research interests include; non-small cell lung adenocarcinoma and locally advanced breast cancer. Dr. Trad was a speaker in many international conferences and forums.

Dr Fathi Azribi is a Consultant Medical Oncologist and Chief of Medical Oncology Division at Tawam Hospital. He graduated from Tripoli University, Libya, then completed specialty training in Oncology in the UK and obtained a Certificate of Completion of Training in Medical Oncology in October 2009. His main interest is in thoracic, breast, gynaecological and gastrointestinal malignancies; with expertise in treatment with chemotherapy, immunotherapy, hormonal and targeted therapy. He published several papers and abstracts in peer reviewed journals. He is also the Program Director of the medical oncology fellowship program at Tawam Hospital.

Dr. Azim is a Professor of Clinical Oncology and immediate past chairman of the Department of Clinical Oncology, Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University. He is the president of the Cairo Oncology Center, one of the largest private Cancer centers in the Middle East region. Dr Azim chairs the scientific committee of the NCCN Middle East chapter and is a member of numerous societies, including the ASCO, ASH, ESMO, ASTRO and the European Blood and Marrow Transplantation Society.

Dr.Javier Cortes is a head of breast cancer and gynecological cancers at Hospital Universitario Ramón y Cajal in Madrid, Spain, as well as Clinical Investigator in the breast cancer research program at Vall d’Hebron Institute of Oncology in Barcelona, Spain.He is one of the European leaders in the field of HER2+ breast cancer, and has led fundamental trials that resulted in the approval of pertuzumab, eribulin and everolimus for metastatic breast cancer. He continues to actively participate in national and international clinical investigations to develop molecularly targeted therapies, such as CDK 4/6 inhibitors, and immunotherapies.Dr. Cortés is on the Scientific Committee of ESMO and is an active member of ASCO and the Spanish Society of Medical Oncology.

Mark Verrill is Head of the Department of Medical Oncology at the Northern Centre for Cancer Care at the Freeman Hospital, Newcastle upon Tyne and Lead Clinician for Breast Cancer in the Northern Cancer Alliance. He graduated from the University of Cambridge in 1999 before undertaking specialist training in Medical Oncology at the Royal Marsden Hospital and Institute of Cancer Research. Mark was appointed as Cancer Research Campaign Clinical Senior Lecturer in Medical Oncology in Newcastle University in 1999, moving into the NHS in 2007. Mark is an active in clinical research with an extensive breast cancer trial portfolio in NCCC and numerous publications resulting from clinical studies.

Dr. Maroun El Khoury completed his basic medical training from Saint Joseph University School of Medicine Beirut, Lebanon in 1999. He is also a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Society of Hematology and American Academy of Pain Management. Dr. Maroun El Khoury’s specialty is Oncology and currently work as a Consultant Oncologist.

Chief Medical Director Dr. Mohsen Mokhtar is a professor of clinical oncology in Al-Kasr Al-Aini Medical School. Dr. Mohsen assisted in developing the syllabus and course structure at Al-Kasr Al-Aini, as well as, supervised several research programs and theses. Furthermore, Dr. Mokhtar has published more than 50 articles in several regional magazines in topics including: breast, lung, pediatric, colorectal, ovarian malignancies NHL and hematologic malignancies. Professionally, Dr. Mokhtar has more than 20 years of experience in hospital management. He is currently the chief medical director in Elaj group covering the clinical and medical audit of group facilities

Dr. Mouza Bin Hamrour is practicing breast surgery solely since 2013 and has obtained her fellowship in breast Oncoplastic surgery from Germany in 2015. Prior to that she worked in Al Ain/Tawam hospitals as Consultant for general surgery trained in Germany till 2011. Dr. Mouza is core faculty I n the Arab board for surgical residency program and involved in the residents training. She is an adjunct assistant professor in the College of medicine and health sciences in the UAE University since 2011. She has special interest in breast cancer research and participating in more than 4 research for 2019. Dr. Mouza and her team got Jallila fund for breast cancer research in collaboration with Sharjah University. She has special interest in Breast cancer genetic and established the first genetic clinic for cancer patients with Dr. Mhanni and in the pursue of establishing survivorship clinic for breast cancer patients

Dr. Alam Nisar Syed is a board-certified cancer specialist in Radiation Oncology and serves as the Medical Director of Radiation Oncology & Endocurietherapy at the MemorialCare Todd Cancer Institute at Long Beach Medical Center. He is recognized as one of the international pioneers of modern brachytherapy. After receiving his medical doctorate in India, he completed his internship, surgical residency and served as a senior registrar in the United Kingdom as well as in Edinborough, Scotland. He then completed a surgical fellowship in Chicago, Illinois before moving to Washington, D.C. to train in radiation with Dr. Erlich Henschcke, an early pioneer in the field of brachytherapy. As an Assistant Professor at USC Medical School, Dr. Syed developed a number of revolutionary brachytherapy procedures for prostate, breast, rectum, and cervical cancer. These procedures have become the international standard of care in the use of brachytherapy treatments. He has devoted much of his time to the training of physicians around the world, as well as the training of residents from USC, UC Irvine, UCLA, Loma Linda University, Stanford and many other schools of medicine. Dr. Syed is the Founder of the American Brachytherapy Society (formerly the American Endocurietherapy Society) and has served as its Secretary, Program Chair, Lecturer and President, as well as Founding Editor-in-Chief for the “Journal of Brachytherapy International.” He currently holds six academic appointments including three Clinical Professorships in the Departments of Radiation Oncology at the University of Southern California School of Medicine, University of California Irvine School of Medicine and the Los Angeles County – Martin Luther King Jr. – Drew Medical Center. He has published more than 50 scientific publications and has given more than 100 formal presentations related to scientific research data; has served as the Chancellor and Vice-Chair of the American College of Radiation Oncology (ACRO); and Chairman of the Radiation Oncology Committee of the Indo-American Cancer Society. Dr. Syed retains memberships in numerous oncologic societies. He is on the medical staff at Long Beach Medical Center, Orange Coast Medical Center and Saddleback Medical Center.

Dr. Nita S Nair is a surgical oncologist and a Professor in breast oncology at the Tata Memorial Centre in Mumbai , India. She is the current Convenor of the breast disease management group at TMC. After her training she joined Tata Memorial Hospital as a consultant in 2010 and has been involved in numerous clinical research trials , with a special focus on quality of life and young women cancers. She is an integral member of the research team, evaluating a wide array of clinical questions from low cost interventions like Low axillary sampling to Yoga on QOL for women with breast cancer. Dr. Nair is also faculty on the UEA oncoplastic surgery training course and has been involved in developing the oncoplastic breast surgery work at TMC and training numerous surgeons across India.

Dr.Nitesh Rohatgi is a senior consultant in Medical Oncology at Max Hospital in Saket, who was till recently working at the prestigious London Oncology Clinic (Leaders in Oncology care), Harley Street, London. He is a fellow of the Royal Society of medicine and has much publication to his name. He was trained in medical oncology, palliative medicine and teenage young adult’s cancers in United Kingdom.

Nouri Bennini has served as Consultant Oncologist at the Tawam Hospital in Al Ain, United Arab Emirates, since 1999. He received his general medicine diploma in 1988 from the University of Constantine in Algeria and undertook residency in medical oncology at the University of Bordeaux, France. At the University of Montpellier, France, Dr Bennini specialised in breast diseases. He has published several scientific papers and contributed to a number of oncology conferences.

Olivia Pagani was responsible, at the Institute of Oncology of Southern Switzerland (IOSI), for breast cancer medical treatment and clinical research from 2005 to 2019 and of the Clinic for cancer predisposition and high-risk individuals from 2002 to 2019. from 2005 to 2008 co-president of the Swiss Group for Cancer Research breast cancer project group. April 2017 she was nominated Full Professor at the Medical School University of Geneva and in 2019 Full Professor at the Medical School University of Lugano. Her main research interests in the last years have been breast cancer in young women and advanced breast cancer. She is panel member of the San Gallen International Consensus Conference for Early Breast cancer, as well as the ESO-ESMO Advanced Breast Cancer (ABC) and chair of the ESO-ESMO Breast Cancer in Young Women Consensus Conferences (BCY). Prof. Pagani was chair of the TEXT trial conducted worldwide by IBCSG, whose results have changed the recommendations for adjuvant endocrine therapy in premenopausal women. She is chair of the POSITIVE study, a global trial evaluating pregnancy in young women with endocrine responsive breast cancer. She was also principal investigator of several SAKK and IBCSG trials.

Rajendra Achyut Badwe was born in Mumbai, in the western Indian state of Maharashtra, in 1956. Reported to be a bright student and a winner of Athalye Medal for Maths, Badwe chose medicine and studied with Dorab Tata Scholarship,to graduate in medicine (MBBS) in 1978. His post-graduation was in general surgery and he secured MS from the Bombay University. Dr. Badwe worked in many institutions of repute before joining Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai as the Head of the Department of Surgical Oncology,[4] he worked at the Toronomon Hospital,Tokyo as a Fellow of the International Society for Diseases of the Oesophagus in 1989 and moved to London and worked as the Registrar and honorary consultant at the Guy’s Hospital, King’s College London School of Medicine and the Royal Marsden Hospital, till 1992.[3] He is currently the Director of Tata Memorial Centre.

Dr. Ramanujam Singarachari ( Dr Ram) came to SKMC in 2009 from Auckland City Hospital, New Zealand after 3 years of higher training in Medical Oncology. He has completed his Medical Oncology Super-Specialty Degree (DM) in 2001 from Cancer Institute, Chennai, India and subsequently worked as faculty at regional cancer centers in India, before joining as senior staff specialist at Dubai Hospital, UAE. He is certified and recertified (2019) from European Society of Medical Oncology. He is also certified in Medical Oncology by the Federation of Royal Colleges of Physicians of the United Kingdom and the Association of Cancer Physicians. His areas of interest are GI cancers, Breast cancers, CNS cancers and Palliative Care.

She was a Lecturer of medical oncology at the Medical Oncology Department at Zagazig University Faculty of Medicine from 2011 to October 2014. Assistant lecturer at the National Cancer Institute, Cairo University and Faculty of Medicine at Zagazig University from 2004 – 2011. She has worked in many local and private hospitals in Egypt such as: the Cairo National Cancer Institute in Zagazig University Hospital and Al Taesier, Aloubour Hospital.

He worked at The William Osler Health System (Toronto) for 25 years (-2016) and while there was Chief of the Pharmacy & Therapeutics Committee, and lead of the clinical trials program (oncology) and continuing medical education (oncology). He was a past lead of CME for the Community Oncologists of Metropolitan Toronto (COMET), and a past Director of the Cancer Advocacy Coalition of Canada. He is a co-founder of the Physician Alliance for Cancer Care and Treatment (Canada), an oncologist led advocacy coalition, and is a scientific advisor for the Canadian Cancer Survivor Network, and the Canadian Breast Cancer Network. He is currently a medical oncologist at The Ottawa Hospital Cancer Centre, focusing on the treatment of breast, prostate cancers and melanoma and lead for the breast cancer disease site. He was the 2020 winner of the “Golden Throat” teaching award.

Dr. Shaheenah Dawood’s specialty is Oncology and currently works as a Consultant Oncologist in Mediclinic City Hospital. She currently serves as president of the Excellence in Oncology Care (EIOC) congress that is held annually in Dubai and is Co-Chair of the Asia Pacific Breast Cancer Summit (APBCS) & APGCS.

I am a medical oncologist with a clinical practice that is devoted solely to the care of patients with breast cancer. My research activities are focused on the clinical development of new therapies for the treatment of breast cancer, with a particular emphasis on evaluating targeted biological anticancer agents. Currently, I am involved in phase I and phase II clinical trials to evaluate novel anti-HER2 therapies. Dr. Sonia Otsmane is an experienced Medical Oncology-Haematology Consultant since 2004. Graduated from the Central faculty of Medecine Algiers in 1994. MD degree. Oncology-hematology board : Pierre and Marie curie institute in 2004. ESMO member. Member of ASCO. Member of Emirates oncology and hematology society. Member of Oncology society and Algerian order of physicians. Main interest: breast cancer, sarcomas, GI and GU malignancies and lymphomas. Has an interest and implicated in several clinical research. Publications and research ongoing on Hematology malignancies (Multiple myeloma /Lymphoma), Solid tumors mainly Breast cancer Head and neck tumors and Immunotherapy. Currently working as Medical Oncology Hematology Physician at Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City.

Stephen Johnston is a Professor of Breast Cancer Medicine and Consultant Medical Oncologist at The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust and The Institute of Cancer Research, London. He is currently a Clinical Director of the Breast, Lung and AOS Clinical Business Unit at The Royal Marsden. He has published over 250 breast cancer related articles in peer-reviewed journals, and is a regular invited lecturer at national and international meetings.

Dr Tanya is Buckshee Rohatgi an internationally-trained consultant from the world’s leading IVF centres in England and Singapore. After passing out from the world-renowned Lady Harding Medical College in New Delhi, she worked for almost a decade in the best teaching hospitals in the UK. She was the only Indian to get a distinction award in her coveted MSc Programme in England and has more than 18 years of clinical experience in the field. She has helped set up the Oncofertility Programme for cancer survivors at Max Hospitals, India. The programme is now one of the best in the country. Her passion for research led her to start the Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) Programme for patients with a persistent thin lining of the uterus.

Dr. Jaffar Ali trained at Columbia University/Roosevelt Hospital, New York and gained his Fellowship in Haematology and Oncology from New York Medical college, St. Vincent’s Hospital. He is triple American board certified in Internal Medicine, Haematology and Medical Oncology. He practised in the USA as an Oncologist/Haematologist for more than 15 years prior to moving back to the UAE and has particular interests in breast cancer, cutting edge oncology treatments such as immunotherapy and genetic predisposition to cancers. He has been involved in clinical research in multiple cancers and has published and presented at the American Society of Clinical Oncology. He is a member of the American Society of Oncology.
