Dina graduated in Pharmacy from the University of Jordon with a Pharma.D degree in 2006. She relocated to the United Arab Emirates in 2008 after two years of job experience in Jordan. She chose to serve the government and has been working in Tawam Hospital, Al Ain for SEHA Health Services. She continued to develop her career and duly progressed to the position of Senior Pharmacist. She has immense experience as a team member providing safe Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN) for pediatrics and adults, including cancer patients. She qualified her ‘Board Certifications in Nutritional Support Pharmacy’ in 2021. She has since taken on the responsibility of being In-charge of Parenteral Nutrition services in Tawam Hospital, Al Ain and continues to teach and educate in her role as TPN Pharmacist.

Dr Joseph El-Khoury is a Lebanese British Consultant Psychiatrist with over 15 years of specialist experience in Adult and Addiction Psychiatry He is the co-founder and medical director of the newly established Valens Clinic in Dubai. He is the former chief of the department of Psychiatry and Behavioural Health at American Hospital Dubai. Dr El-Khoury obtained his primary medical degree from St George’s University, School of Medicine in 2002 followed by membership of the Royal College of Psychiatrists in the UK in 2006. He holds dual certification in Adult and Substance Misuse Psychiatry from the General Medical Council, UK since 2010. In parallel Dr El-Khoury completed a postgraduate certificate in Evidence-Based Psychological Therapies in 2007 at the University of Reading and a Masters in War and Psychiatry from King’s college London in 2019.

Dr. Mona Tareen is a Palliative Medicine Consultant, Director Palliative Care in Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi

Dr. Neil Arun Nijhawan is a UK-trained Consultant in Palliative Medicine at Burjeel Medical City. After medical school at Kings College London, he pursued speciality training in Palliative Medicine in London, with rotations in acute general hospitals, domiciliary visits, community hospices and tertiary oncology centres. Prior to completing his Palliative Medicine training, Neil returned to his childhood home, Trinidad in the West Indies, to help set-up and commission the new Caura Hospital Palliative Care Unit, where he was the Medical Director. This unit was opened in 2014 and provides a comprehensive palliative care service including 12-bed inpatient unit, weekly outpatient clinics and palliative care consult service at the local university hospital. After completing his specialty training, Neil worked as a Consultant in Palliative Medicine at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust in the London, where he was Clinical Lead for Palliative Medicine. His clinical area of interest is symptom control (including pain, nausea, breathlessness, fatigue) and assistance with complex treatment decision-making at the end of life and he is often called on to provide an independent second opinions. He is active in palliative care education and palliative care advocacy and is currently the UAE representative to the WHO Eastern Mediterranean Region Palliative Care Expert Network, IAHPC palliative care advocacy focal point for the UAE and is an adjunct senior clinical lecturer at Khalifa University Abu Dhabi.

Dr. Adeboye is currently a Palliative Care Physician and Hospice Medical Director at Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center in Lagrange Georgia. His Board Certifications include Internal Medicine and Hospice and Palliative Care. Additional Degree – Physician Executive MBA, University of Tennessee in Knoxville.

Dr. Javed, diplomate American Board of Internal Medicine in Geriatric and Palliative Medicine, who expertise in elderly care and in the management of acute and chronic cancer pain as well as management of symptoms resulting from disease or its treatment. With extensive clinical experience in Geriatrics and Palliative Medicine, working in New Brunswick, Canada before joining Tawam Hospital. His areas of interest include cognitive impairment in elderly, cancer pain and psychosocial issues in terminally ill patients.
