Claude has held a variety of academic and clinical roles in acute, hospice, and community settings. His current work focuses on improving palliative care provision for marginalised populations, with a specific emphasis on people with diverse sexual and gender identities. He was the principal investigator of a funded research project on developing and evaluating a training programme on culturally competent palliative and end of life care for LGBT people.

Gina Brown is a Professor of Gastrointestinal Cancer Imaging. Her research in colorectal cancer staging has set the national and global benchmarks for imaging assessment of colon and rectal cancer patients before and during treatment . These improved staging methods have reduced local and distant failure in high risk patients whilst avoiding overtreatment of low risk patients and has resulted MRI based strategies being incorporated into several guidelines such as peer review measures, UK NICE and guidelines. She graduated from King’s College Hospital School of Medicine, London in 1988, and her research career began at the University of Wales, Cardiff in 1997 with investigating and establishing optimal MRI techniques for staging and assessment of primary rectal cancer.

Giuseppe Curigliano, MD PhD, is Full Professor of Medical Oncology at the University of Milano and Chief of the Clinical Division of Early Drug Development at European Institute of Oncology, Milano, Italy. Dr. Curigliano is an expert in the field of advanced drug development in solid tumors, with specific interest on breast cancer. He contributed to the development of many anticancer treatments actually available as standard of care in the treatment of multiple solid tumors. Since 2001 he is tenure-track and full-time cancer specialist at European Institute of Oncology – one of the world’s leading cancer-research institutes and the premier Cancer Center in Italy, third in Europe and 12th globally. He serves as member of the Italian Higher Health Council. Dr. Curigliano served ESMO as Chair of the Clinical Practice Guidelines Committee from 2019 to 2023. He is the Editor in Chief of ESMO Open. He was awarded with the first ESO Umberto Veronesi Award in Vienna in 2017 and with the Fellowship of the European Academy of Cancer Sciences in Paris in 2017. Dr Curigliano in 2022 and 2023 was identified as Clarivate™ world’s most influential researchers. Dr Curigliano has contributed to over 670 peer-reviewed publications.

Isabel Galiano is a Certified Nutrition and Health Coach with over a decade of experience as a Cancer Coach. As a two-time breast cancer survivor, she aims to empower others affected by cancer to take charge of their health and well-being. With her background in Functional Medicine and Yoga Therapy, Isabel offers a holistic and integrative approach to health and recovery. She provides personalized coaching to clients worldwide, both in person and online. She also conducts workshops and corporate talks, passionately advocating for cancer awareness and education. Isabel is an active member of the UK & International Health Coaches Association, the Society of Behavioural Health Singapore, and the Association of Naturopathic Practitioners (UK). She is fluent in English, Spanish, French, German, and Luxembourgish. As a trained Functional Medicine Practitioner and a certified Yoga Therapy Instructor, Isabel offers a comprehensive approach to health and recovery. She is a proud member of the UK & International Health Coaches Association, the Society of Behavioural Health Singapore, and the Association of Naturopathic Practitioners (UK).

Dr. Cortés is the Head of the International Breast Cancer Centre (IBCC) in Barcelona, founding partner of Medica Scientia innovation Research (MedSIR), a company involved in the clinical development of clinical trials. He has contributed to over 430 peer-reviewed publications, especially about breast tumours and new drugs and more than 800 communications at different conferences. He actively participates in the development of numerous international clinical trials, and he is an ad hoc reviewer of various oncology journals, including, New England Journal of Medicine, Lancet, Lancet Oncology, Annals of Oncology or Journal of Clinical Oncology, among many others. Dr Cortés is an active member of the Spanish, European, and American Societies of Medical Oncology (SEOM, ESMO, ASCO). In addition, he is a member of the Scientific Committee of the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO), of the Scientific Committee of the European Breast Cancer Conference (EBCC), has been chair for breast cancer at the ESMO 2020 congress, and co-chair of the same section in the congress of the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) 2020, as well as the immunotherapy area of the AACR 2021 congress. He is a member of the expert panel that develops the treatment guidelines for metastatic breast cancer of the European Society for Medical Oncology, member of the ABC Conference, member of the ASCO International Affairs Committee, member of the executive panel in charge of SABCS Strategic Planning, and co-organizer of the Annual Congress of Controversies in Breast Cancer (CoBrCa). In addition, according to the American Expertscape 2023 ranking, he is considered the world’s leading expert on HER2+ and fourth world oncologist with the greatest expertise in breast cancer and in 2022 and 2023 was identified as Clarivate™ world’s most influential researchers.

Dr Lee obtained her medical degrees from the National University of Singapore and the Royal College of Physicians, United Kingdom, and completed a fellowship in cancer genetics at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, USA. She is Senior Consultant in the Department of Haematology-Oncology, Associate Director of Research at the National University Cancer Institute, Singapore (NCIS), and Professor and Senior Principal Investigator at the Cancer Science Institute, National University of Singapore. She is ex-Chairperson of the Chapter of Medical Oncologists, Academy of Medicine, Singapore, and was a member of the Singapore Ministry of Health Specialist Accreditation Board for Medical Oncology. She specializes in breast cancer and directs the Cancer Genetics program at NCIS. Her research focus is on breast cancer, pharmacogenetics and cancer genetics. She directs the Haematology-Oncology Research Group (HORG), a cancer clinical trials unit that supports ~200 phase I-III therapeutics clinical trials in solid tumors and haematological malignancies at NCIS. She is a National Medical Research Council Singapore (NMRC) Senior Clinician Scientist Award recipient, and has more than 240 peer-reviewed publications, including publications in Journal of Clinical Oncology, Annals of Oncology, British Journal of Cancer, Breast Cancer Research and Treatment, New England Journal of Medicine, Nature Genetics and Nature Medicine.

Dr Prasad Kothari has been a registered ENT (ear, nose, and throat) surgeon since 2007, following the completion of his higher training at the Royal National Throat, Nose and Ear Hospital in London. He is a consultant ENT Head and Neck Surgeon at Mediclinic Parkview and treats all adult and paediatric ENT conditions, with a special interest in head and neck oncology including cancer of the thyroid. Dr Kothari has recently moved to Dubai having worked in the UK NHS for 25 years. His prior posts have included consultant ENT at Lister Hospital and clinical director of ENT at Luton & Dunstable NHS Foundation Trust where he achieved the Clinical Excellence award for his work. In addition, for 8 years, Dr Kothari has led head and neck cancer surgery for the Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire cancer network.

 Professor Popat has both a private and an NHS practice at The Royal Marsden. He is a Consultant Medical Oncologist at The Royal Marsden, Professor of Thoracic Oncology at the Institute of Cancer Research, and is an internationally recognized expert in the treatment of lung cancer, mesothelioma and cancers of the thymus (thymoma and thymic carcinoma). Professor Popat qualified in 1994 from Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospitals with triple distinction and was awarded a PhD in Molecular Genetics in 2002, undertaking a postdoctoral Clinician Scientist Fellowship and a HEFCE Clinical Senior Lectureship thereafter. He has been awarded nationally and internationally competitive prizes for his research, in addition to four research fellowships. His research interests include the complexities of genetic profiling in cancer, as well as developing novel drug treatments through clinical trials. He also holds several national and international roles. Nationally, Professor Popat Chairs the British Thoracic Oncology Group (BTOG) Steering Committee, is Co-Director for the NIHR London South Clinical Research Network Cancer Division, the NIHR Lung Cancer National Specialty Lead and is past Sub-group Chair of the NCRI Lung Group. Internationally, he sits on the Foundation Council of the European Thoracic Oncology Platform (ETOP) and is active in the European Society of Medical Oncology (ESMO) where he has co-authored European Clinical Practice Guidelines for Small Cell Lung Cancer, Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer, and Mesothelioma. His research collaborations with industry have led to licensing of several drugs globally, leading to implementation in International treatment guidelines and NHS funding approvals. Professor Popat is often an invited Clinical Expert to the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) and sits on several committees overseeing the safety and governance for ongoing UK and international clinical trials. Sanjay is a strong advocate for patient education and support and is clinical advisor to several patient-facing cancer charities.

Dr. Shanu is a medical oncologist with a clinical practice that is devoted solely to the care of patients with breast cancer. Her research activities are focused on the clinical development of new therapies for the treatment of breast cancer, with a particular emphasis on evaluating targeted biological anticancer agents. Currently, she is involved in phase I and phase II clinical trials to evaluate novel anti-HER2 therapies.

Susie Maloney, MS, APRN, AOCN, AOCNS is a Senior Director at TMAC / The Medical Affairs Company and Principal of Oncology Nursing Advisors, LLC. She has a master’s degree in Oncology Nursing and is licensed as an Advanced Practice Nurse. Susie has served as Director-at-Large for the National Oncology Nursing Society and served on the Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation board of directors. She recently finished a 3-year term on the National ONS Leadership Development Committee. Susie has authored more than 100 professional articles, book chapters, and is co-editor of the ONS Telephone Triage for Oncology Nurses books as well as 3 editions of the book titled “Oncology Nursing Advisor”. Lecturing throughout the Middle East, India, Russia, Africa, Japan, and China for the past 20 years, Susie is an internationally known speaker and thought leader within the nursing community.

Tahani is an oncology nurse expert who focuses professionally on research and science in nursing, making a difference, and the transformation in oncology nursing; Advisor who participated in developing policies and guidelines for oncology nursing services interest focuses on continued research and development of complementary oncology nursing practice in addition to the clinical practice and experience, as well as inspire change, enhance people’s perceptions of our profession and raise our profile across the country.

Bill Lydiatt is Professor of Surgery at Creighton University, Vice President of the American Head and Neck Society and Chair of the AJCC Head and Neck Staging panel. He received his BS from Stanford University, MD and Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery Residency from University of Nebraska and fellowship in head and neck surgical oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City. A former Chief Medical Officer and Vice President of Medical Affairs, VP of Surgical Services and Chair of Surgery at Nebraska Methodist Hospital, Lydiatt received his EMBA from the University of Colorado. He has a long standing interest in the prevention of depression in HNC patients and in staging head and neck cancers. He seeks to enhance quality care through leadership in local and national organizations. He is interested in the use of the arts to enhance teaching and understanding the patient experience. He has over 150 publications, books and book chapters in the field.
