Dr Alex started and completed all her medical training in South Africa and is a University of Witwatersrand, Johannesburg graduate (1992), Diplomate of Anesthesia (1994) and Fellow of College of South African Radiologists (1999). She superspecialised into the field of breast imaging ,working as a dedicated breast consultant at The Bone and Breast Care Centre, Johannesburg. Arriving in Dubai, 2008, she established the first dedicated breast imaging unit at Mediclinic City Hospital, offering image guided breast interventions to limit unnecessary surgeries and guide more personalised treatment options. This passion was integral in setting up the multidisciplinary team meetings that continue to provide a good forum for international best practice. She has a keen interest in education and teaching and has participated as presenter and faculty at many local and international congresses. She is involved in medical student teaching and student research projects through the Mohammed Bin Rashid University

Dr. Abdel Razek graduated from Cairo University. He completed his residency in 1976 at Washington University in St. Louis, Mo., USA. He is board certified in both Radiation Oncology and Pediatrics. He co-authored four text books in radiation oncology and contributed to many publications in oncology journals. He served on the national committee of the Southwest Oncology Group, Intergroup Ewings Sarcoma and National Wilms Tumor Committee. Dr. Abdel Razek is a Fellow of the American College of Radiation Oncology. He is president of Medical Resources International and Chairman and Executive Director of the Gulf International Cancer Center.

Dr. Anna Burattin, an Italian Board Certified Consultant in Endocrinology and Metabolic Diseases has more than 21 years of experience in Italy and UAE complemented by a remarkable research background. Her educational background includes a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from Universita’ Degli Studi Di Brescia, Italy, conferred in 1997, and a specialization in Endocrinology and Diseases, conferred in 2002. Dr. Anna’s pursuit of knowledge led her to complete a five-year legal course, enhancing her understanding of medical ethics and regulations. She further demonstrated her commitment to advancing medical science through her research projects at Brescia University and Spedali Civili, Brescia. Notably, her research focused on the evaluation of bone metabolism, density, quality, and vertebral deformities in patients with hypopituitarism and acromegaly. She has also conducted research on renal function in patients with type 2 diabetes, the effects of chronic steroid therapy on bone metabolism, and the use of bone ultrasonography in assessing bone health. She has also delved into the neuroregulation of growth hormone secretion and explored the cardiovascular effects of growth hormone. Dr. Anna brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in the field of endocrinology, specializing in Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus, Metabolic Diseases, Thyroid Nodules and Dysfunction, Disorders of Pituitary, Adrenal, and Parathyroid Glands, as well as managing Diabetes and Thyroid Diseases during Pregnancy. Dr. Anna possesses a well-rounded skill set, including expertise in radio protection, Basic Life Support with Defibrillation (BLSD), Advanced Life Support (ALS), Pediatric Basic Life Support (PBLS), and emergency clinical toxicology. Dr. Archana has more than 20 years’ experience from UK, UAE & India. She was Fully trained in the UK for 15 years, was a Consultant Oncoplastic breast surgeon at Peterborough hospital (UK) and was a Consultant Oncoplastic breast surgeon at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, Mumbai, India. She is also an Ex- Consultant Oncoplastic breast surgery at Narayana Health, Bangalore, India. Dr Archana has been awarded the coveted Donald Mcneill Oncoplastic fellowship by the Association of Breast Surgeons UK. She is also a Fellow of Royal College Of Surgeons, UK, Faculty at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, UK and a Reviewer for the Indian Journal of Surgical Oncology & Dubai Medical Journal. Dr. Archana has done extensive research at University College London on DNA replication markers as prognostic & predictive factors for breast cancer and published papers in multiple peer reviewed journals. She was invited as faculty in numerous international conferences.

Dr. Chehal is an Adjunct Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine, Gulf Medical University (GMU), Ajman and at Khalifa University (KU), Abu Dhabi, UAE. He graduated from the college of Medicine at Baghdad University/Iraq (MBChB) in 1996 and did his Internal Medicine residency at American University of Beirut, Lebanon, between 1997 and 2000 (Lebanese Board). Dr. Chehal did his Hematology/Oncology fellowship at the American University of Beirut (AUBMC), Lebanon, between 2000 and 2003 (Lebanese Board) and obtained Fellowship of the American College of Physician (FACP) in 2013.

After completing his graduation in M.B.B.S, Dr. Balaji obtained M.S in General surgery from The Tamilnadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai in 2000. Then he underwent D.N.B in General surgery from Ministry of Health & Welfare, Government of India and F.R.C.S from the Royal college of Surgeons of Edinburgh. He completed his M.Ch in Surgical oncology in 2004. Dr. Balaji has been examiner for European board of Surgery – Surgical Oncology division since 2010. He was conferred honorary diploma in European Board of Surgery. Dr. Balaji has a brilliant post-graduation career, as he submitted numerous papers on Cancer surgery, has involved in laryngeal cancer research works and presented thesis on G.I injury. Beside this he had attended in several International conferences and workshops. Dr. Balaji has a rich experience of 15 years in Cancer surgeries, with his special area of interest being Thyroid, Gastrointestinal and Breast cancer surgeries. Presently, with the rich experience in thyroid surgery, the spectrum has expanded towards Endoscopic thyroidectomies. Tran’s axillary approach for thyroidectomy is no more a dream & has come to reality resulting in NO NECK SCAR after thyroid surgery. This procedure is highly unique, which very few doctor’s in Abu Dhabi could perform.

Dr. Basel is certified by the American Board of Pathology, combined Clinical and Anatomical Pathology and brings to NRL more than 18 years’ international experience in the field of laboratory medicine and diagnostic pathology.   Dr. Basel started his internship in pathology at Baylor University Medical Center, Dallas, Texas and completed his residency training in 2003. He then completed his Selective Pathology Fellowship, followed by a Clinical Research Training Program, at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center.  Dr. Basel’s career has included multiple leadership positions at elite US hospitals and reference laboratories, such as Chief of Service and Medical Director at Baylor University Medical Center; Director of the Histology Laboratory at Greater Dallas Pathology; and Medical Director of Arlington Cancer Center. He has also served as an Inspection Team Leader for the College of American Pathologists (CAP) on multiple occasions.  He has authored many research publications and is a member of global organizations, such as the International Society of Urological Pathology, the International Society of Breast Pathology, and the United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology. Dr. Basel is passionate about research and education and is the Pathology Course Director at Khalifa University, College of Medicine and Health Sciences in Abu Dhabi.

Professor Basema Saddik is a professor of public health and epidemiology at the College of Medicine University of Sharjah, UAE and the Faculty of Medicine and Health, University of New South Wales, Australia. She serves as the Director of the Center of Excellence for Public Health at the University of Sharjah and holds the position of Coordinator for the “Clinical Epidemiology Research Group.” Prof. Saddik’s research spans multiple countries, including Australia, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE and has been recognized among the top 2% of global researchers by Stanford University. Professor Saddik’s research focuses on investigating disease burdens in vulnerable populations, addressing health disparities, and promoting equitable healthcare. In 2022 she was awarded the University of Sharjah Scientific Research Award by his Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi for her outstanding contribution to research.

Dr. Bashar Zeidan is a UK trained, Board & TIG – Certified Consultant Oncoplastic and Reconstructive Breast Surgeon. He graduated in 2003 and completed his surgical training in Wessex, England. Over the past 20 years Dr Zeidan worked with world-renowned breast and plastic surgeons and was awarded a PhD for his research focusing on breast cancer. He has also served as a Clinical Lecturer and Senior Lecturer in Surgery at the University of Southampton between 2013-2023. He is experienced in the management of all aspects of breast disease, advanced oncoplastic breast conservation techniques, breast reconstruction and cosmetic breast surgery.

Dr. Carmelo Barbaccia did his basic medical training from the Universita’ di Palermo, Italy in 1990. He completed his specialization in Otolaryngology in 1994 from Palermo University. Then he moved to the Head and Neck Department of the National Cancer Institute of Milan until 2004 as Consultant. Dr. Barbaccia worked as ENT Consultant, Head and Neck and Thyroid Surgeon at Medway Maritime Hospital, Kent, UK from 2004. He also worked at Queen Victoria Hospital, West Sussex, UK since 2007 as ENT Consultant and Head and Neck and Thyroid Surgeon.

Dr Mukherji completed her advanced specialty training in Medical Oncology at Guys and St Thomas’s NHS Foundation Trust, London UK and was awarded a Post-Graduate Diploma in Oncology from the Institute of Cancer Research, University of London in 2011. On completion of her advanced specialty training Dr Mukherji joined the Royal Marsden Hospital London specializing in clinical research and drug development with a focus on prostate cancer. Dr Mukherji joined the faculty of the American University of Beirut, Lebanon in June 2012 and currently an associate professor of clinical medicine, she joined Clemenceau Medical Center Dubai UAE as a consultant medical oncologist in October 2022. Dr Mukherji specializes in GI and GU medical oncology. She is currently an ESMO faculty member for the genitourinary tumors prostate group and a panel member for the Advanced Prostate Cancer Consensus Conference (APCCC).

Dr. Diaeddine Trad is a Consultant of Medical Oncology, at Tawam Hospital, in Al Ain, UAE. He is a member of the European Society of Medical Oncology (ESMO), and the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO). He is an investigator in several ongoing clinical trials. Dr. Trad is certified as a specialist in internal medicine, hematology and oncology by the Lebanese Ministry of Health. His research interests include; non-small cell lung adenocarcinoma and locally advanced breast cancer. Dr. Trad was a speaker in many international conferences and forums.

Dr. Dima Abdul Jabbar, MD, is a staff physician in the Oncology Institute at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi. Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Dima served as Assistant Professor of Medical Oncology at the University of South Florida, H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute, Florida, US. She has also worked as a Consultant Medical Oncologist at several reputable hospitals in Florida and the UAE. Dr. Dima has extensive experience with different types of chemotherapy and immunotherapy and has managed different kinds of cancers including breast cancer, melanomas, and colorectal neoplasms.

Dr. Dorai Ramanathan is a highly qualified Oncologist from the United Kingdom with over 13years’ experience in managing adult cancer patients alone. His expertise is both in Chemotherapy and Radiotherapy for all adult solid tumors. His sites of special interest are Breast, Lung, Gynaecological and Colon Cancer.

Dr. Emad Dawoud is a Consultant Medical Oncologist in Oncology department at Tawam hospital UAE, and Assistant professor of clinical oncology in Al Azhar University Cairo, Egypt. Dr. Dawoud has been principal investigator and co-investigator for more than 50 clinical trials and abstract published per reviewed journals and he is a member of various associations such as ASCO, ESMO, ESTRO.

Professor El Karak is a Medical Doctor specialized in Hematology and Medical Oncology from Saint-Joseph University of Beirut from which he holds a Masters in Science. He is also a holder of a Masters in Clinical Development of Products of Health from France, Masters in Molecular Oncology from Spain and Executive Masters in Healthcare Management from ESA Business School. Pr. El Karak has performed a fellowship at Léon BERARD Cancer Center in Lyon-FRANCE and at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School in Boston- USA. He has authored and co-authored over 100 publications in leading international journals

Dr. Faisel Ikram joined Mediclinic City Hospital as Consultant General Surgeon/ Surgical Gastroenterologist with special interest in advanced laparoscopic surgery. After completing his surgical training at Johannesburg General Hospital, he took up a consultant position at the Department of Surgical Gastroenterology and was a lecturer at the Wits Medical School, University of Witwatersrand. He completed his sub-speciality training and continued to work as a Senior Consultant in his unit, specialising in surgical oncology. He’s recently been certified as a Robotic General and Gastrointestinal surgeon and practices mainly Robotic surgery now.

Dr Farah Naja is a professor in Nutrition Epidemiology, at the University of Sharjah. She earned her doctoral degree from University of Toronto, Canada. Dr Naja is leading an active research portfolio, with over 75 publications. Her research focus is to explore innovative approaches to study dietary intake, with a focus on the Mediterranean diet, its health and environmental impacts. Together with her team, she has launched the first mother and child nutrition cohort in the Middle East in Lebanon (MINA) and contributed to the launch of a similar cohort in the UAE (MISC). By researching research, Dr Naja has laid out the agenda for research in nutrition and NCD and in nutrition and breast cancer in the Arab world.

Dr Farooq Latif is currently working as a consultant medical oncologist in Dubai Hospital. After graduation, Dr Farooq completed general internal medicine training in North Yorkshire, UK and attained MRCP in 2007. He then completed clinical oncology training in Liverpool, Merseyside leading to CCT. Dr Farooq became a fellow of Royal college of radiologist (FRCR), faculty of clinical oncology in 2013 and was subsequently awarded fellowship of Royal college of Physicians of Glasgow FRCP (Glasg) and fellowship of Royal college of physicians of Edinburgh FRCP(Edin). He worked as a consultant clinical oncologist in North Wales cancer centre and Royal stoke university hospital, Midlands, UK. He has keen interest in teaching and research and has published in peer-reviewed journals.

Dr Fathi Azribi graduated from Al-Fateh University, Tripoli, Libya, then completed his specialty training in Oncology in the UK and obtained a Certificate of Completion of Training in Medical Oncology. He has an extensive medical knowledge and experience in medical oncology. His main interest is in thoracic, breast, gynecological and gastrointestinal malignancies with expertise in all types of systemic treatments including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, hormonal and targeted therapy. He took several positions as a consultant Medical Oncologist in the UK and UAE and had been the Chief of Medical Oncology Division at Tawam Hospital, UAE over the past 5 years. Dr Fathi also has special interest in medical education and has established the first Medical Oncology Fellowship Program in the UAE.

Dr Hassan Ghazal is an American board-certified Consultant Medical Oncologist and a Consultant Clinical hematologist offering more than 3 decades of clinical experience. Dr Hassan Ghazal, after doing his basic medical education in American University of Beirut, moved to US for his residency program in Internal Medicine at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, MD. In 1992, completing the residency program, Dr Hassan Ghazal joined in George Washington university Medical Center for his fellowship in Medical Oncology and completed the same in 1995. He continued in George Washington University Medical Center for another 2 years and obtained his senior fellowship in bone marrow transplantation in the year 1997. He got his US board certification in Internal Medicine, Medical Oncology and in Hematology in the year 1992, 1995,1996 respectively.

Dr. Hassan Shahryar is a consultant in medical oncology and hematology at the Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City (SSMC) in partnership with Mayo Clinic and an adjunct clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at the Khalifa University in Abu Dhabi, UAE. He is Diplomate American Board of Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, Medical Oncology and Haematology. Dr. Shahryar practices general oncology in a large tertiary care public health system with a special interest in breast tumors. Dr. Shahryar is well published in peer reviewed international journals and is an invited speaker at the national and regional cancer conferences. He is a participant of the ESMO Leaders Generation Programme Asia 2022 and an active member of the ESMO Leadership Development Committee.

Dr. Hiran is currently a Specialist Anatomical & Clinical Pathology at Burjeel Hospital, Abu Dhabi. Dr. Hiran was part of 4 collaborative clinical researches and has 15 publications to his credit in various national and international peer reviewed journals. Dr. Hiran has also delivered lectures in national and international conferences. His key areas of interest are Head and neck pathology, Breast pathology and Endocrine pathology.

Dr. Abu-Gheida is the Chief Medical Officer of Burjeel Medical City and clinical director of the department of radiation oncology at Burjeel Medical City. Dr. Abu-Gheida is also the chairman of the first Emirates Oncology Society Radiation Oncology Work group formulated in 2023. He also serves as a regional Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) committee representative for the Middle East and Africa. Dr. Abu-Gheida completed his undergraduate training where he earned a Bachelor of Science with honors degree from the American University of Beirut. Following this, Dr. Abu-Gheida completed his Medical School training at the American University of Beirut Medical Center. He continued and joined the Department of Internal Medicine at the American University of Beirut. Then did his training in the Department of Radiation Oncology at the American University of Beirut Medical Center, where he also served as the chief resident. During his Training, Dr. Abu-Gheida completed a Harvard-affiliated NIH-funded research program as well. After his residency, Dr. Ibrahim went to Cleveland Clinic / in Ohio, where he was appointed as an Advanced Clinical Radiation Oncology Fellow. Dr. Abu-Gheida went and joined the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center where he sub-specialized in treating Breast, gastrointestinal, and genitourinary cancers.

Dr. Jawaher Ansari completed his Clinical Oncology specialist training in Birmingham, UK and worked as a Consultant at the Beatson Cancer Centre in Glasgow, the second largest cancer center in the UK, prior to moving to the Middle East. Dr Ansari has been a principal investigator for several international clinical trials and has authored several peer-reviewed publications and textbook chapters. He has a specialist interest in Urology, Breast and Lung cancers.

Dr. Job Simon is a Consultant in Endocrinology at Burjeel Hospital in Abu Dhabi. He is Board-Certified in Internal Medicine, Diabetes, and Endocrinology. In 1991, he earned his MBBS from Christian Medical College in India. Dr. Simon spent two years working in India before moving to the United States of America to complete a three-year Residency Program in Internal Medicine at Stonybrook University Hospital – State University of New York. He joined the Division of Endocrinology and Metabolism at Winthrop University Hospital in New York, USA, in 2000 as a Fellow. He continued his education in 2002 at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York, USA, where he received additional training in endocrine oncology, thyroid cancer, and nuclear medicine. He then worked as a Consultant Endocrinologist at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine’s Center of Excellence in Diabetes at Queens Hospital Center in New York, USA. For seven years, Dr. Simon worked as a Consultant Endocrinologist in a tertiary referral center for oncology in Al Ain, UAE, in 2003. He worked in diabetes, endocrinology, and thyroid oncology and evaluated morbidly obese patients before bariatric surgery. He moved to Abu Dhabi in 2012 as a Consultant Endocrinologist and Chief of the Endocrine Division of a large government hospital in Abu Dhabi. He later joined Burjeel Hospital Abu Dhabi.

He has done his internal medicine fellowship in 2008 and medical Oncology fellowship in 2011. Khaled Al Qawasmeh is a Clinical Research Nurse Professional, Hematology/Oncology at Tawam Hospital and President of Emirates Oncology & Hematology Nursing Society. Dr. Al Qawasmeh qualified with a master’s in Clinical Oncology Nursing from the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, USA. He is an Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) as of 2009. Dr. Al Qawasmeh has gained the prestigious Clinical Research Certification from USA and become a Certified Clinical Research Professional (CCRP) 2015. Dr. Al Qawasmeh has published in national and international peer-reviewed journals; his main research interest is in the field of oncology. He is an official reviewer for the prestigious Cancer Nursing Journal and is currently actively involved in the oncology clinical trials at Tawam Hospital and their scientific publication.

Dr. Khalid Balaraj was initially trained in the United Kingdom. He has radiation oncology qualifications from – UK (FRCR (I), Ireland (FFR RCSI) and Canada (FRCPC). He has done 2 Clinical Fellowships from Canada, in Gynecology Brachytherapy and CNS Stereotactic Radiotherapy. Currently, Dr.Khalid Balaraj is a consultant radiation oncologist at Tawam Hospital, UAE.

Dr. Kinda Douaidari is an Interventional Breast Radiologist with international experience of more than 15 years being trained in leading teaching hospitals in Paris. She is a pioneer in her field, for being the first to perform Tomo-guided Breast Vacuum Biopsies in the Middle East. She has an extensive experience in Breast Cancer Early Detection with multimodality approach for personalized screening.

Dr Ismail is a Consultant Radiologist with particular expertise in Breast and Gynaecological Imaging, who has international experience having trained in leading teaching hospitals in London. She completed her medical training at the University of Cape Town, South Africa where she obtained her MBChB with Honours. Dr Ismail went on to complete her Clinical Radiology training in London Northwest University Hospitals Trust, U.K where she obtained a fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists FRCR(UK) in 2016. She undertook a clinical fellowship in Breast and Gynaecological Imaging at London Northwest University Hospitals and Imperial Hospitals Trust, and obtained her Clinical Certificate of Specialist Training in Radiology (CCST) in 2019. Dr Leila worked for the National Health Service (NHS) as a Consultant Radiologist specialising in Breast and Gynaecological Imaging prior to joining Mediclinic City Hospital earlier this year. She is highly skilled in all advanced breast radiological modalities and procedures and is committed to providing the highest level of patient care.

Dr. Madhubrata Hazra is a UK-trained Consultant in Palliative Medicine at American Hospital Dubai. He completed his specialty training in Palliative Medicine in South Yorkshire region at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals and obtained the Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT). After completion of training, he worked as a Consultant in Palliative Medicine at Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals and St. John’s Hospice, Doncaster. Prof. Maha is currently a Professor of Pharmacology, College of Medicine, University of Sharjah. She finished her MSc in Endocrinology and Diabetes, Queen Mary University, UK; and her MSc in Leadership in Health Profession Education, RCSI, Ireland.

Dr. Mahdi Shkoukani, MD, is the Department Chair for Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery department in the Surgical Subspecialties Institute at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi. He is also a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Surgery at Cleveland Clinic Learner College of Medicine, Case Western Reserve University. Also, Dr. Shkoukani is the Medical Director for Supply Chain Operations at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi. Dr. Shkoukani is a double American Board-certified surgeon in Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery, as well as in Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery. Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Shkoukani served as an Associate Professor and Chief of Craniofacial Surgery at the Department of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan, US. Mahwish Ahmad, MBBS, MPH, HEC-C serves as the Director for Clinical and Transplant Ethics at CCAD, and Chairs our Clinical Ethics Committee at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi (CCAD). She joined CCAD in 2022 from the Center for Ethics, Humanities and Spiritual Care at Cleveland Clinic Main Campus, Ohio, having served as a Staff Ethicist there for the past six years. By way of Bioethics training, she has completed a Clinical and Transplant Ethics Fellowship within the Cleveland Clinic Center for Bioethics at Main Campus in Ohio. Professor Marwan Ghosn acquired his medical degree and his post-graduate expertise in Hematology Oncology from Faculty of Medicine, Saint Joseph University in Beirut- Lebanon; as well as from the University of Paris XI, Le Kremlin Bicêtre and Institut Gustave Roussy Cancer Center in Villejuif- France. He served as the Director of the Hematology Oncology Post-Graduate Program for more than twenty years and the Chairman of the Hematology Oncology Department at Faculty of Medicine, Saint Joseph University in Beirut- Lebanon. He acquired a Master in Hospital and Health Management from The Higher School of Business, ESA in Beirut and a Master in the Quality Management of Units for Care Production (MUPS) from the University of Paris VII, Denis Diderot in France. He is currently the Director of the Cancer Center and the Head of Hematology Oncology Division at Clemenceau Medical Center affiliated with Johns Hopkins International in Beirut- Lebanon, and Consultant Medical Oncology at Clemenceau Medical Center in Dubai- United Arab Emirates. Professor Marwan Ghosn has also served for more than 12 years, as Chairman of the Hematology Oncology Department at Hôtel-Dieu de France University Hospital in Beirut, where he is actually continuing his clinical, medical, academic, and research activities. He served as President of the Lebanese Society of Medical Oncology (LSMO) and was member of the Board of the Lebanese Cancer Society (LCS) for many years. He is an active member of several national and international scientific organizations and societies; including the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), the American Association of Cancer Research (AACR), the European Society of Medical Oncology (ESMO), the American Society of Hematology (ASH), the European Hematology Association (EHA), the International Society of Geriatric Oncology (SIOG), and the Arab Medical Association Against Cancer (AMAAC). He is author and co-author of more than 300 peer-reviewed articles. He also published and gave an extensive number of communications, posters, and abstracts at regional and international meetings; as well as several chapters in books in the field of Medical Oncology and Health Care Management. He is the Editor in Chief of the “Pan Arab Journal of Oncology” (PAJO) edited by the Arab Medical Association Against Cancer (AMAAC) and has previously served as Editor in Chief of the “Cancer Letter”edited by the Lebanese Cancer Society. Professor Ghosn has special interests in multiple areas including leadership in conducting research and clinical trials in multiple solid tumors. He has an expertise in breast cancer, urologic cancers, gastrointestinal tumors, geriatric oncology domain as well as in Patients’ Safety and Quality in Healthcare.

Dr Bello is a distinguished UK-trained General and Oncoplastic Breast Surgeon with an expansive career spanning over 35 years, specialising in a comprehensive range of surgical procedures, particularly breast reconstruction and aesthetic oncoplastic surgery. Having gained her MBBS in 1982, Dr Bello embarked on a commendable educational journey, securing her Fellowship from the Royal College of Surgcons of Edinburgh (FRCS Ed) in 1991, followed by an FRCS in General Surgery (Gen. With 16 years of experience in Canada and the UAE, Dr. Al Ali specializes in laryngology and phoniatric surgery, and head and neck oncology surgery.
