“Dr Alex started and completed all her medical training in South Africa and is a University of Witwatersrand, Johannesburg graduate (1992), Diplomate of Anesthesia (1994) and Fellow of College of South African Radiologists (1999). She superspecialised into the field of breast imaging ,working as a dedicated breast consultant at The Bone and Breast Care Centre, Johannesburg. Arriving in Dubai, 2008, she established the first dedicated breast imaging unit at Mediclinic City Hospital, offering image guided breast interventions to limit unnecessary surgeries and guide more personalised treatment options. This passion was integral in setting up the multidisciplinary team meetings that continue to provide a good forum for international best practice. She has a keen interest in education and teaching and has participated as presenter and faculty at many local and international congresses. She is involved in medical student teaching and student research projects through the Mohammed Bin Rashid University”

DDr. Abdel Razek graduated from Cairo University. He completed his residency in 1976 at Washington University in St. Louis, Mo., USA. He is board certified in both Radiation Oncology and Pediatrics. He co-authored four text books in radiation oncology and contributed to many publications in oncology journals. He served on the national committee of the Southwest Oncology Group, Intergroup Ewings Sarcoma and National Wilms Tumor Committee. Dr. Abdel Razek is a Fellow of the American College of Radiation Oncology. He is president of Medical Resources International and Chairman and Executive Director of the Gulf International Cancer Center.

Dr. Archana has more than 20 years’ experience from UK, UAE & India She was Fully trained in the UK for 15 years. Ex-consultant Oncoplastic breast surgeon at Peterborough hospital (UK). Ex- Consultant Oncoplastic breast surgeon at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, Mumbai, India. Ex- Consultant Oncoplastic breast surgery at Narayana Health, Bangalore, India Dr Archana has been awarded the coveted Donald Mcneill Oncoplastic fellowship by the Association of Breast Surgeons UK. Fellow of Royal College Of Surgeons, UK Faculty at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, UK Reviewer for the Indian Journal of Surgical Oncology & Dubai Medical Journal Dr. Archana has done extensive research at University College London on DNA replication markers as prognostic & predictive factors for breast cancer Published papers in multiple peer reviewed journals Invited as faculty in numerous international conferences.

“Dr Arianna obtained her MD at the University of Palermo (Italy) in 1996. Subsequently, she completed her postgraduate specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and subspecialist Reproductive Medicine at the University of Palermo in 2000. In 1999, she was appointed Research Fellow in Assisted Reproduction at the University Hospital of Wales (UK) where she remained until 2002. She worked as Consultant in Reproductive Medicine in Bologna (Italy) for two years and then she was appointed as Consultant in Essex (UK) and subsequently in Wales (UK). In 2021 Dr Arianna became the Clinical Lead in Reproductive Medicine at Wales Fertility Institute, Cardiff and Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Cardiff University. She also held the position of Director of the postgraduate teaching Diploma/Master in Ultrasound at Cardiff University. Dr Arianna has over 20 years’ experience in Assisted Reproduction and Ultrasound. Dr Arianna has research interests in ultrasound (diagnostic and interventional), Ovarian Hyperstimulation Syndrome (OHSS), fertility preservation for benign and malignant conditions, recurrent miscarriage and implantation failure, markers of ovarian reserve and ovarian cancer screening. She is author of several international publications; invited speaker at national and international conferences/webinars and peer-reviewer for many journals in the field of reproductive medicine and ultrasound.”

Dr. Arun is a medical oncologist in Prime Hospital. He Started in developing the Oncology Department at PRIME.

Dorria Salem 1953, Egyptian radiologist, MD, Cairo University 1987. A professor at Cairo University teaching hospital, since 1998 and the general manager of the women’s health outreach program [National Egyptian breast screening program] since 2007. She is one of the pioneers in the women’s imaging the thing that put her in a very distinguished position on the national level as well as the Arab level. She is the founder of the women’s imaging unit at the radiology department at Cairo university teaching hospital since 2003. She has recently been selected to be a member in the Middle East board of Aunt Minnie radiology website.

Dr Fady Geara MD, PhD is Department Chair of Radiation Oncology at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi. Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Geara served as Professor and Chairman of Radiation oncology at the American University of Beirut Medical Center, after having been recruited from the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston Texas. Dr. Geara received his medical degree from the University of Paris XI (France) and completed his residency then fellowship at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston Texas.

Dr. Hala graduated from the University of Alexandria, Faculty of Medicine, Egypt, in 1994 and undertook her speciality qualification in Medical Oncology and Radiotherapy in 1996. She also attained her Master’s degree and PhD in Clinical Oncology in Egypt. She has achieved FRCR in Clinical Oncology from the Royal College of London and she is European Society of Medical Oncology (ESMO) certified. She was nominated as a lecturer in the Oncology and Radiotherapy Department at the University of Alexandria, Egypt. Since 2011, Dr. Hala has been working in the UAE, first at Mafraq Hospital then at Mediclinic Al Noor Hospital since 2008, where she is Head of the Oncology department). Dr. Hala has contributed to numerous research projects and has published articles in international and domestic journals. She also actively participates in numerous conferences and CME activities. Dr. Hala is interested in treating all kind of solid tumours.

Dr. Neshteman completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery as well as her Masters in Pathology in Iraq and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Pathologists of England. She has over 20 years of experience in the UK. Previously she was working as Consultant Hispathologist at Kettering General Hospital (KGH) UK where load of her work involved dissection, examination and reporting of a wide variety of specimens which also included biopsies from the breast, gyneacological, skin, GI, head and neck, endocrine and lymphorecticular system. Dr. Neshteman, during her tenure in Kettering, was a lead pathologist for breast cancer where she successfully led the implementation of synoptic reporting that improved diagnostic and prognostic criteria, and helped to improve treatment and management of the disease. She also led gynaecological cytology services where she did reporting for cervical cancer screening.

Dr. Omalkhair Abulkhair is currently a Consultant in the Division of Adult Medical, Department of Oncology in Ministry of National Guard Health Affairs – Saudi Arabia and Assistant Professor at the King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences. Being one of the most recognized oncologists in the Middle East, she was nominated to be part of the Women in High Places: Fight Against Cancer, an international organization of prominent women in their respective areas. She is the Course Director of major symposia in the department which is the “Middle East Best of San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium” and “Cancer Prevention and Early Detection Symposium”. She was also selected as the Chairman for MENA-NCCN Guidelines Committee for Breast Cancer. This committee aims to unify the guidelines for breast cancer management in the region. Furthermore, Dr. Abulkhair has written numerous publications and abstracts which leads to receiving three awards for best abstract.

TPalak Popat practices in Mumbai at Tata Memorial Centre as a Radiologist Her clinical research consists of co-authoring 32 peer reviewed articles in the past 15 years.

“Dr. Yee Ting studied medicine at Edinburgh University in 2006 and trained in radiology in West of Scotland, gaining the FRCR in 2012. She worked as Consultant Radiologist subspecializing in Breast Imaging, within the National Health Service (NHS) hospitals in U.K. She joined East of Scotland Breast Screening Centre in 2015 where she was appointed as Clinical Director to oversee the population screening of women across Tayside and Northeast Fife. In June 2015, she was awarded the Ellis Barnett Prize for most outstanding paper with ultrasound content published in Clinical Radiology journal She is multi- linguistic. Apart from English, Mandarin and Malay, she is fluent in speaking 3 Chinese dialects, Cantonese, Hokkien and Foochow. She also completed Japanese Elementary level course undertaken as part-time learning in University of Edinburgh – and is able to comprehend basic hiragana, katakana & kanji.”
